Gaming at your desktop is great fun, but I’m sure you already know this. The latest peripherals from Corsair are easily some of their greatest to date. When I reviewed the Corsair K63 Wireless keyboard, it was an absolute blast, as was the truly phenomenal Dark Core SE gaming mouse. However, as well as they work wired, they’re also some of the greatest wireless peripherals we’ve ever tested. So what if you wanted to break free from the wires, takes your peripherals into the living room and game on the big screen?
With flawless wireless performance over either Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz, and long battery life, I can’t think of any peripherals I’d rather use. Sure, gaming from the couch isn’t for everyone, but thanks to Nvidia Gamestream on my Shield TV, I can throw the games on to any screen in the house with ease… I mean, if you could, why wouldn’t you give it a bash?
Corsair created the Lap Dog a few years ago, and it worked well enough, but it relied on wires. This made it larger than it needed to be, heavier, and pretty tricky to set up due to the number of trip hazards from the cables. It also meant the keyboard and mouse were pretty much hard-wired to the whole thing, making it impractical to move your desktop peripherals to it and back; you basically needed two of everything.
The K63 Wireless solves this, wireless peripherals means the Lapboard is just a passive mount, nice and easy!
