Enermax MaxRevo 1350W Fully Modular Power Supply Review

I really like what Enermax has done with the packaging, and I mean really like. I once again put the packaging through the standard testing procedure, to those who are not aware, I show a selection of PSU packages to my Dad (the one I still have to show how to change fonts in Word) and ask him which unit he thinks is the best, by looks alone. Out of a selection of packages from Antec, Corsair, Thermaltake and Thortech, he instantly picked this out of the bunch as being the best based purely on the appearance of the box.

On the front Enermax has kept it simple by including only the model, wattage and key features- a very clean and professional  design.

The rear outlines the features and specifications in an easy to follow format that doesn’t appear at all cluttered.

The other side, which could well be the front, includes a picture of the unit long with the logo. The one fault I have with this packaging is the statement “1% to Platinum” sure, that is a great achievement, but rule number one of advertising is to stick to the positives not the negatives or what it almost is!

The outer sleeve slides off to reveal that the box has a unique drawer design. The box consists of three drawers, the top one contains all the modular cables and manual, the PSU itself can be found in the bottom left and the rest of the accessories are in the bottom right. The packaging makes a very good desktop organiser once emptied and can be the ideal place to store screws from a project, computer cables and whatever other miscellaneous junk you want to tuck away.

The included free fan is a TB Apollish Vegas and has a ton of great lighting options and moves a lot of air while being quite quiet. As you only have one included it would be best suited to a great looking intake fan. There is only one way of showing you this properly- video!
