Notebooks do tend to run much hotter than their desktop counterparts. This is a relatively slim chassis notebook, and it packs some powerful hardware. Of course, that means there’s a lot of heat to deal with. The system topped out at 94c on the CPU and 80c on the GPU. Fortunately, that’s about what we would expect from this kind of system and it’s nicely within the safe limits. The fans did a great job of keeping things stable too, without making too much noise. If you’re running WPrime all day, it’ll get a bit louder. However, for most gaming scenarios, the CPU is unlikely to hit this high temperature as often.
