One of the most popular system integrators in the world is back with one of their coolest products to date. We’re at their suite at CES 2018, and they’ve got their new Case Builder project. The idea is that you can take this chassis and really customise it in so many ways. The look and overall structure of this chassis is easily changed, and the surfaces are easily painted. Of course, that’s basic stuff, how about a side panel window that can be replaced with a transparent LCD monitor? You heard that right, but don’t expect it to be a cheap optional extra.
At this layout, it looks pretty much like any other high-end chassis, right? However, let’s see how it breaks down!
This blown out model of the chassis shows just how every components is completely modular. Every bracket, corner, mounts and more is movable. iBuyPower can build you one with more storage, more radiator space, you name it. I don’t know how much it’ll cost, but it’s a great idea and we expect them to have systems with it available later this year.
