Power Consumption and Temperatures

Power Consumption

As you might expect, the Intel i5-7500 is an extremely efficient chip and consumes less than 115-watts under stress. This is slightly below the i5-7600K which draws 126.3-watts due to the higher default frequency.

Temperatures

Unless you’re able to enact BCLK adjustments, the CPU can only be benchmarked at its default settings which require around 1.15-1.20V. As a result, the thermal output is minimal and the hottest core peaks at 45C. Therefore, a really basic cooling solution should be more than ample to keep the CPU running as intended.
