InWin Classic Series 750W 80 Plus Platinum PSU Review

A Closer Look – Exterior

The PSU comes with a gorgeous aluminium finish, giving it a premium look and feel that is sure to look great in any system, although we suspect it’ll look even better in one of the high-end aluminium chassis designs from InWin. Around the back, you’ll find the main power socket, a master power switch, as well as a lot of ventilation to help get rid of unwanted heat.

Down the side, the aluminum finish is broken up with a black glossy panel and some stylish glossy red branding.

Around the back, a good range of fully-modular connectors, including five peripheral connectors, and four PCI-E connectors.

More of the same decals on the other side, so it should look great if you mount it regular or inverted.

The top panel has a unique cut-out shape and a durable black metal grill, behind that, a dark black 120mm fan, although it’s pretty stealthy and hard to make out.

On the base, a specifications sticker, as well as the warranty sticker. As you can see, there are four +12v rails, each capable of delivering 25A.

Cables

All of the modular cables are flat, with the exception of the thicker 24-pin for the motherboard main power. All cables are black with all black connectors too, which means they look nice and uniform and should blend into your build with relative ease. All four of the PCI-E cables are 6+2, giving you power to connect multiple GPUs or similar expansion cards.

With the peripheral connectors, there’s a good mixture of SATA and Molex, as well as a floppy connector should you need it.
