Linksys included everything needed to get your new LAPAC2600 up and running. It comes with mounting screws for wall and ceiling plate mounting, an RJ45 LAN cable, and an AC/DC adapter with both EU and UK replaceable plug.
As mentioned above, the Linksys LAPAC2600 can be easily wall and ceiling mounted with the below-pictured white mounting plate. The additional added metal plate shown next to it is perfect when you want to mount the access point on ceiling plates that otherwise wouldn’t hold with normal screws. All scenarios are covered.
Linksys even thought of a drill layout template and added that to the package. With this, a proper mounting of the access point will be as easy as it is secure.
Included is also a documentation disk and a quick start guide.
The access point itself doesn’t have many features to show, but there are a few. The rear site features two clearly marked RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports where one of them supports PoE. On one side of them is the DC power connection when PoE isn’t used and on the other side is the reset switch to set the device back to its defaults.
The two RJ45 ports also allow for link aggregation for a total throughput up to 2 Gbps on the wired connections.
There is one LED on the front that takes care of all the visual aspects. It is multicoloured for the state and also features activity display.
