Typically the acoustic performance of a gaming or general consumer laptop, notebook or Ultrabook is a key area of focus, as this can be a critical point of decision for a number of people. In the case of the GT60-2OK, performance is a priority so for our acoustic test, I enabled the ‘Cooler Boost’ feature to ramp up the cooling ability of the system and to give a worst case scenario when rendering images and video content.
