A Closer LookAt first look, we notice that the mouse is a very attractive, pure white. The black ascents perfectly contrast the white body and a black cable which is very long is always a good addition. The mouse is a fairly standard affair when it comes to onboard buttons or features, but this is by no means a bad thing and works wonders for the overall attractiveness.

NZXT have positioned their brand logo on the left hand side of the mouse towards the user’s hand. When the mouse is being used and the logo is lit up, it is perfectly visible through the gap between the user’s index finger and thumb depending on the way you grip the mouse.

The left side (back) button is situated in it’s standard location on the left-hand side of the mouse. This is probably the best position for the back button as it features easy access for the thumb. The right side (forward) button on the other hand is located in the exact same position on the opposite side of the mouse. This could potentially cause inconvenience problems when using that button.

When being used, the blue LED strip featured on either side of the mouse activates. The blue colour is very smooth and stands out effectively against the black and white it is located near. For those who aren’t a fan, there is an option to disable the LED if you so require.

A very creative method of displaying the current DPI setting is used by NZXT. They decided to allow the NZXT logo on the mouse to illuminate with 3 different colours depending on the current DPI setting.

Blue represents the maximum DPI setting of 1600 DPI.

Purple represents the middle of the line setting, 800 DPI.

Finally, Red represents the lowest setting of all, 400 DPI.
