Benchmarking Overclocked Performance


3DMark

In 3DMark Fire Strike we saw a 14.7% increase in the graphics score with the overclock applied.

Battlefield 4

In Battlefield 4 we saw an 11.5% increase in average frame-rate with the overclock applied.

Metro: Last Light

In Metro Last Light there was a 10.5% increase in the average frame-rate thanks to the overclocking.

Fan Speed

Temperatures, fan speed and power consumption all rose after overclocking but by the smallest of margins. Overclocking does increase heat output, power consumption and temperatures as well explained on the risks page but as you can see the increases are very small. Current generation video cards are so efficient that overclocking makes minimal difference to heat output.
