Ozone Argon Advanced Pro Laser Gaming Mouse Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The Ozone Argon is a little more expensive that you’re average budget product, putting it in the lower end of the mid-budget ranges. At just £42.32 it’s still certainly affordable to most gamers and for that price, it has got a great range of features and performance that more than justifies the price tag.

Overview

I really like the Ozone Argon, it’s not the most complex mouse in the world, but it has got all the features you’re likely to need and they’re all very well executed. A great gaming mouse isn’t always the one with the most features, it’s the one that tracks precisely, is not too complicated and is comfortable; which is exactly what the Argon delivers.

The build quality is rock solid, of course, the bulk of the mouse is plastics, but they’re durable and of a good quality. The extra touches, such as the high-quality Omron switches ensure a good life span for the buttons and the rubber grip coating is hard-wearing and fairly resistant to scratches. There’s a pair of tough rubber grips on the side, that add to the overall aesthetics, but even more so to the overall feel of the mouse.

Weight tuning is always a welcome addition, especially since we all have different play styles. You may be a little heavy-handed, you may prefer hard or softer gaming surfaces, either way, you can tune the weight of the mouse to get optimal glide and tracking.

Sensor performance was near perfect, even at high DPI and for those that need pixel perfect headsets, you’ll be happy with what the Argon has to offer.

Pros

  • Accurate sensor performance
  • High-quality switches
  • Great build quality
  • Competitive price
  • Stylish design
  • Ambidextrous
  • Rubber side grips
  • LED lighting
  • Braided cable

Cons

  • None

“A great all-around mouse that’s as well suited to competitive gaming, as it is browsing Facebook. Certainly worth considering given its modest price tag and stylish design.”
