A small amount of cursing, trapped fingers, and a two-person weight lifting session and it’s finally out of the box and out of the wrapping. First impressions are fantastic and while the unboxing experience was exhausting, it really was, there’s little else to do. The TV, stand and the Bowers and Wilkinson soundbar are all pre-assembled and ready to rock!
The soundbar is an interesting option and it’s very tastefully tucked into the stand. It’s certain to be better than your typical downward-firing slim speakers that most TV/monitors have these days.
As you can see, it’s got a bit of everything here. DTS Sound, DisplayHDR 1000 certification, 4K, VA panel (great viewing angles) and much more. Good on them for pairing with Bowers & Wilkins too, it’s still just a soundbar, but should at least be a decent one.
55″ it may be, but the power usage is really good here too.
Around the back, you’ll RGB lighting on the left, right and top. This is for their Ambiglow technology.
They’re slightly recessed so they don’t protect light in other directions too.
Around the back, you can see a little more of the soundbar, which sits quite a bit behind the monitor.
It features a pair of large bass ports on the rear too.
The stand mounts to the monitor at a single point. It doesn’t pivot left to right, but it does offer a few degree tilt forward and backwards, which is really cool.
Tucked into the bottom, you’ll find a plethora of USB ports thanks to a built-in hub, three HDMI ports, a single DisplayPort, and a headphone jack.
