Riotoro Enigma 850W

Riotoro is certainly a brand with more than a little prestige about them. Don’t be fooled though into thinking that they only produce high-end products. In our experience, their system components often encompass a wide variety of budgets to suit almost any user. As such, if you’re new to them, it’s certainly a brand worth your attention whatever your needs are.

With this in mind, we have the pleasure of reviewing the Riotoro Enigma. Forming part of their latest line of power supplies, we expect this to provide a solid combination of performance and price. The model we have is an 850W power supply with a gold efficiency rating. This should, therefore, be more than ideal for most gaming PCs not only in terms of the amount of power but also the quality in which it is delivered.

The Riotoro Enigma power supply has a single 12V rail for the output of the main 840W. Given that this is a gold-rated power supply, we expect a big performance here!

Cabling

As this is a fully modular power supply, all cables can be attached to the power source as needed. No spare or loose cables here! Despite that though, it is important to know what you are getting!

  • 1 x 24 pin connector.
  • 2 x EPS (8-pin) connectors.
  • 6 x PCI-E (8-pin) connectors.
  • 10 x SATA connectors.
  • 5 x Molex connectors.
  • 1 x Floppy drive adaptor.

As you can see this power supply offers more than enough cables for the vast majority of systems. Particularly the high amount of PCI-E adaptors. These are offered in different lengths which are detailed below.
