The box for the Roccat Kone Pro is really funky, with a stunning photo of the mouse right on the front, as well as showing some very strange RGB features, I wonder if it’ll look like that in real life? On the front of the box, we can see it has 19K DPI and a weight of just 66g, as well as featuring their new Titan Optical Switch technology.
Around the back, another cool photo showing the left side profile of the mouse, and a small hint of that weird RGB design. There’s a little detail about the design, but otherwise, it’s pretty straightforward.
However, down the side, we can see it has their Titan Wheel Pro design, PTFE pads, and their ultra-light cable design known as “Phantom Flex Cable”.
Open up the box, and the mouse is nicely protected in a plastic mould. The cable is neatly wrapped around the outer section. There’s also the usual documentation, as well as some spare PTFE pads, which is always a nice addition.
Amusingly, the cable came out in a rectangle shape.
Fortunately, it’s only of the most flopping and lightweight cables ever, so it didn’t hold that shape at all. The paracord braiding is luxuriously soft and has a nice premium feel to it. It feels robust, too, despite its floppy and lightweight design.
A nice little USB header with the Roccat logo on… or is that the Thundercats logo, who knows!
A small icon to say this is the mouse header, I like this, it’ll save some head scratching when I’m looking at the back of my computer.
