Seagate Halo Infinite Special Edition Game Drive Review

Seagate is one of the worlds leading brands for storage, and recently, they launched a new range of gaming storage drives. The new range includes the Halo Infinite Special Edition drive, the Game Drive, and the Game Drive Hub. With games eating up more storage space than ever before, having additional room for older games, backing up new ones, or just having more games, in general, is more important than ever. Since I’ve already taken a look at the Game Drive and the Hub previously, today will be all about the new Halo Infinite Special Edition Game Drive.

Seagate Halo Infinite Special Edition

With the launch of Halo Infinite right around the corner, it makes sense that many Xbox games will enjoy a new Halo inspired design on the new drive. Of course, as a long time Halo fan myself, I welcome such a design any time of the year! Designed by Seagate, Xbox and 343 Industries, the Special Edition drive provides 2TB of storage, however, a 5TB capacity model is also available. Both drives run from a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) interface. Big storage, custom Halo artwork and customisable LEDs certainly make this an appealing package for owners of the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox One. While I don’t think it needs to be said, Seagate also points out that these drives are “compatible with Game Pass.”

What Seagate Had to Say

“Conquer your gaming limits — and the Banished — while showing your love for Halo with the officially-licensed Xbox Halo Infinite Special Edition Game Drive. Pocket-sized, up to 5 TB of storage, seamless plug-and-play compatibility with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, any generation of Xbox One, and Game Pass, plus customisable LEDs to create an epic Halo experience. Arm yourself with the power of your Halo Infinite Game Drive — adventure awaits.” – Seagate
