Today I am taking a look at the PS07, a premium quality midi-tower from Silverstone. It’s been a couple of months since we had a look at a Silverstone chassis, with the FT03 M-ITX and GD07 HTPC chassis both walking away with eTeknix awards earlier in the year, can the PS07 score a third win from us today?
Silverstone are at the top of their game when it comes to compact chassis design, with a product range that features many of the smallest chassis designs on the market today. The PS07 isn’t exactly the smallest of the bunch, not by a long way, but it is a fairly compact solution that still promises big things, so it will be interesting to see how it fairs with our test components today. The PS07 is the first chassis in Silverstones Precision series and is specially designed from M-ATX motherboards, although for today’s review it’s worth pointing out we’ll be using the slightly smaller M-ITX motherboard.
There is a lot of demand in the market right now for premium quality, compact chassis designs and on paper it sounds like this solution from Silverstone could be a real winner. Let’s take a quick look at the general specification of the chassis, then we’ll move on and take a closer look at exactly what the PS07 has to offer.
