Packaging & Accessories
I should point out that while they come in a different colour box, both these drives actually look the same as each other. The red box designates the SSD while the green box is for the HDD. Furthermore, they both come with the same accessories in the box. First, you’ll find a SATA to USB cable, as well as the Type-C adaptor.
The drive is plug and play ready, and doesn’t require any external power. You should be able to connect it to your computer, consoles, mobile devices, TV, etc., with no further configuration required. Of course, if your device requires its own file format, you may be prompted that it’ll format before use, but that’s to be expected from any drive.
It comes with a Type-C cable, which is a standard USB header that’ll work on just about anything. However, there’s a Type-A to Type-C adapter, ensuring it’ll work on modern devices and high-speed ports too.
