Tesoro Gandiva H1L Laser Gaming Mouse Review

Final Thoughts

Price

A quick Google will find you the Tesoro Gandiva for a very affordable £40-45, this is incredibly good value for money given the range of features and performance that this mouse offers. It’s also very competitive against similarly priced gaming mice such as the CYBORG RAT5 and the Corsair M65; all of which offer similar levels of performance and features for around the same price.

Overview

The Tesoro Gandiva H1L is one of the best looking mice I’ve ever seen, the unique design really stands out from the crowd and a lot of thought has gone into the little details; despite the fact this is only a mid-budget gaming mouse. The lighting effect is of particular interest to me; the way it glows through the darker plastics between the top panels looks really cool. The mouse is only made from plastic, but all the surfaces have been well finished and the panels feel durable and squeak free, more than good enough to survive a few knocks and bumps.

The sensor performance is incredible; it’s very accurate across the full DPI range and the addition of a configurable lift-off height and angle snapping means you’ll be able to quickly tune it to your own personal preference. The included software is packed full of extra features and settings that allow you to tweak everything from the back-lighting to macro settings, meaning you can quickly adjust the mouse to suit your play style. Being able to store profiles and settings directly to the mouse means that it’s tournament friendly, but even if you’re not a pro gamer, you’ll find a lot to love about this mouse as it’s just as easy to tweak all the settings for photo, video and music editing software as it is for your favourite games.

Great looks, exceptional performance and a lot of features sum up everything you could ask for from a gaming mouse, with the added bonus that you can buy one and still have change from £50! The price is easily the biggest achievement of this mouse, it looks and performs as well as a gaming mouse that costs at least 50% as much; if that’s not enough to have you eager to try out the Gandiva, nothing will be.
