While not as high-end as the last one we looked at, the Pro X670-P WiFi is still one of the more high-end solutions out there. It still has that gorgeous black-on-black heatsink and 8-layer PCB design, with white trim on top. However, it takes the hardware side seriously too, with a 14+2+1 power design, with an 80A Smart Power stage, so tapping high-end performance and excellent overclocking stability won’t be an issue.
The configuration of this motherboard puts the PCIe 5.0 support on to the top M.2 slot, but there are an additional 3 x PCIe 4.0 slots giving you four in total for lots of fast storage. There are also 3 x PCI-E x16 slots which support x16/x4/x2 and a 1 x PCI-E x1 slot, all of which come armoured too.
The rear I/O is humble to look at as it’s one of the few without a pre-installed guard. But fool thee not, as it still has a pair of USB 4 Type-C ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, USB 3, and even some display outputs. However, it also has 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 6E, so it’s no slouch for connectivity.
