Thermaltake AH T600 Snow Full Tower Case Review

Complete System

First up, this PC case is massive, so why isn’t the damn cable routing hole big enough for a perfectly normal cable. SERIOUSLY, so many case makers do this and it drives me crazy.

ARGH!

After a bit of fighting and a lot of cursing, the cable is through. Actually, despite being extremely exposed, the cable routing is pretty fantastic here. There are routing holes all over the place, so finding a clean route for your cables is pretty easy.

Be sure to get a PSU with long cables or some extensions though, as they may have a longer route than usual.

There’s a good amount of space between the case and the windows too, so no issues there.

On the other side, the clean cable routing pays off big. This is a case where details matter and flaws in your build will stick out as much as the bold case design does.

From every angle, you’ve got a big gap or a window showing off the hardware.

The build does look great though, but dealing with excess cables can be very troublesome, especially as the build becomes more complex. I just cable tied the excess into a bundle next to the PSU here.

However, with more drives, more fans, more of everything, you’ll have to get creative.

It does look cool though, and I think that’s about the only thing that matters. What does annoy me is that I’ve used a flagship Z390 E-ATX motherboard, a big premium Noctua cooler, an Nvidia 1080 Ti, and well… it looks a bit pants. In any other case, this would be BIG hardware, but in here it’s just like a stamp on an envelope.

Of course, all that space can be take up with HUGE radiators in the front and to the right of the motherboard, and up in the top. Then you’ve got a big pump mount in the bottom too. There are no fans in this case by default and honestly, I didn’t see the need to add any. It’s open air enough as it is, but for liquid cooling, you could really push a GPU and CPU to the max with this.

Plus, there’s a panel gap so huge behind the front panel and in front of the fan mounts you can easily hide a llama.

That really is a lot of empty space. What would you do with it?
