Thermaltake Core P6 Turquoise Edition Case Review

Interior

I feel like I’ve little to show you in here that you haven’t already seen, as even with the tempered glass on, this case doesn’t really hide anything. Crystal clear tempered glass and a bright colour are going to catch people’s eye, so you may want to bring your cable routing A-game to this one. Thankfully, there’s a hidden chamber behind the motherboard and some cable routing grommets, that will certainly help you with this.

Thermaltake has even managed to integrate a PSU shroud, but it stops halfway so it doesn’t ruin the open-air look of the case or conflict with those front and side fan/radiator mounts. There’s a large viewing window here so you can show off your PSU design.

As you can see, there’s a dedicated SSD mount on the top of it, as well as the vertical GPU mounting bracket for securing a riser cable.

It’s open at the back too, so larger cables are easily routed. However, there’s a large cable grommet back there too, should you need it.

There are fan mounts in the bottom, but their usage really depends on what else you’re fitting into the bottom of the case. You won’t be putting a radiator down here, but an additional set of fans can make use of the bottom dust filters, which is good. There’s also a removable mount to fit a 2.5″ drive down here too, but this mount is also useful for mounting pumps and other cooling hardware.

There are a lot more storage options around the back though, as well as some handy cable routing space to keep things looking tidy upfront.

You can fit 2 x 3.5″ or 3 x 2.5″ drives here.

This isn’t an HDD mounting place, this is the brace for the wall mount.

But you can put another 2 x 3.5″ or 3 x 2.5″ drives here, giving you eight SSD mounts in total, or four HDDs.
