Thermaltake View 23 TG ARGB PC Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The Thermaltake View 23 TG ARGB is available now from Amazon UK for just £87.89, which I think is pretty reasonable. Considering that it comes with four fans, three of which are addressable, and a hub. If you’re in the US, you can grab one for just $93.53.

Overview

I really like this case, and I think Thermaltake did a good job of nailing down some premium features, without hurting your wallet. Sure, it’s still the best part of £90. However, with a tempered glass window, the RGB fan hub, and addressable RGB lighting, the price is really competitive. Adding all that stuff up separately isn’t going to come out cheaper.

Build Quality

It’s pretty decent, overall. It’s not class-leading, but it’s priced to reflect that. The front panel is plastic, and it’s going to be a dust magnet. However, it’s a fair trade-off on the price, and it looks superb with that sweeping curve on it. On the interior, you’ve got a solid frame, and the addition of the PSU shroud and removable storage bays go a long way to a more premium experience.

Added Value

There are dust filters absolutely everywhere in this case. There’s a filter system on the side intake for the front panel. Plus, magnetic filters on the right side panel intake/outlet, and on the top panel. There’s also a simple clip-in mesh on the PSU vent. Overall, I don’t think dust is going to be a problem for View 23 TG ARGB. You’ve got superb fan support too, with plenty pre-installed, but additional mounts on the interior should you need them. The same goes for radiators, with up to a 360mm support on the front panel.

Final Thoughts

The curvy front panel and ARGB lighting aren’t going to be for everyone, I’ll admit. However, it does look pretty stylish and even the lighting is a lot less in your face than I was expecting. It manages to look clean and mature, while also having some youthful flair, and I think that’s brilliant. Plus, at this price, it’s a great deal too!
