Taking a look at the box, we can see our first shot of the T500 and its pedals, its a pretty large box too and with the pedals alone weighing 9kg its pretty heavy too. The box is branded for Playstation 3 and sports the Gran Turismo 5 logo, for some strange reason though it doesn’t say anywhere on the box that the wheel is supported by PC, but I assure you it is supported on PC, will a full set of drivers available to download on the Thrustmaster website and support in many of the major racing titles that are on the market.
The F1 attachment rightly comes in a much smaller box, brandishing the same red black and while colours of the T500, only this time with a fantastic image of the Ferrari F1 car and logo. While there are no accessories with it, it doesn’t really need any, but we’ll be taking a closer look at this wheel and its features after we examine the T500 GT setup.
In the box of the T500 GT you will find a power cable and transformer adaptor, a realistic break modification kit and the tools needed to fit it and a hefty multi language instruction booklet.
In the box also comes the very important clamp, which you will need to mount the wheel to your desk or racing rig.
