A Closer Look

The Shock Pro comes hard-wired with a long cable, coated with a durable black braiding that should keep it nicely protected. Of course, the braiding also looks great. I would have liked a fully detachable cable, but at this price range, it’s hard to be too picky.

The headset uses standard 3.5mm jacks for the headphones and the microphone. The USB cable is optional but helps drive more power to the headset and provide the power to illuminate the RGB lighting features.

Lightweight Design

The Stock Pro feels incredibly light, yet still manages to house 40mm drivers that deliver big power. If you’re tired of being over-encumbered by a heavy headset, it’s certainly going to be a good remedy for that. The auto adjustment headband has a wide padded section that helps evenly distribute the weight over the top of your head too. Of course, since the rigid section sits above your head, it’s also exceptionally comfortable; perfect for those long all-night gaming sessions.

The auto adjustment is great for multiple uses and gamers of different ages too. It’ll comfortably fit smaller children and adults instantly; no need to tweak anything to make it fit.

Each ear cup features a thick and super soft leather-like padding. It provides a comfortable and close fit around your ears. Of course, a fit like this will help block out a lot of unwanted external noise, while also locking in the sound.

Take Control

There’s no need for desktop software here, as you can tweak all the fun stuff right from the side of the ear cup. There’s an easy to reach volume control wheel, a microphone mute switch, and a lighting control button. This means you don’t have to tab out of your game to take care of the basics.
