A rather terrifying video has shown up on YouTube showing a Japanese train being struck directly by lightning as it moved into a train station. The affair was captured by YouTube user artcgate01 in Japan and has already cranked up 3 million views in 3 days.
The video shows a high speed train moving down the tracks when it is hit by lighting crossing the bridge, from about 1:15 in the video. The impact can be seen above.
The aftermath of that strike, pictured above shows a power surge/cut flaring up at the front of the train which caused the train to break down on the bridge. The incident caused delays but thankfully not a single person was injured from the whole incident.
