CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Read
The system’s Samsung SM951 boot drive offers ridiculously high read speeds and isn’t too adrift of breaking the 2250MB/s barrier. This phenomenal level of performance almost defies belief and makes traditional SATA devices appear extremely slow. On another note, the secondary hard drive attains a commendable result while the USB 3.0 rate remains more than adequate.
CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Write
Here we can see, the system’s NVMe boot drive is capable of exemplary write speeds which obliterate the competition. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the write rate to go beyond 1500MB/s and it’s certainly one of the fastest SM951 samples I’ve tested. The mechanical hard drive managed an excellent write speed although it has some room for improvement. Also, the USB 3.0 write rate remained very consistent.
