Adesso iMouse E10 Vertical Ergonomic Mouse Review

Performance

The first thing I wanted to test about this mouse was the sensor performance, as it doesn’t matter how ergonomic a mouse is if it doesn’t provide some level of accuracy. There are only three DPI levels available from the mouse, but as you can see we’ve got fairly reasonable results across my tests. Ig this were a gaming mouse I’d expect slightly smoother performance and higher (and some lower) DPI settings, but it’s not a gaming mouse and this is perfectly acceptable for desktop use.

Using this mouse feels weird, there’s really no other way of saying it. I actually do suffer from a lot of wrist pain when using the mouse for more than an hour at a time and I have been eager to test this mouse out to see if it will help. After a day’s usage, I can confirm that it does ease the pain a noticeable amount, or at least to the point where I can actually use the mouse for a good while longer than usual before it becomes an issue. The only downside I’ve met so far is that the mouse doesn’t feel intuitive and certainly takes some time to get used to. I find I’m nowhere near as accurate with this mouse and even simple tasks such as closing a tab on a 4K monitor in Chrome need a steadier hand than usual.

Gaming performance is a tricky one, as for games like CS:GO you can forget it, this isn’t really an ideal solution. However, for games like Sim City 4, I found it to be a perfect solution, essentially, if you’re playing something with the pace of Minesweeper, you’ll be fine, if you’re playing an FPS, you’ll want to get out a dedicated gaming mouse.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
