Corsair Hydro Series H80i Liquid CPU Cooler Review
The front of the box shows us an image of the product itself, the fact it is compatible with Corsair Link software and that it is a high performance liquid CPU cooler.

The rear of the box compares the H80i against the Intel box cooler and the previous generation H80 and shows us that it is both quieter and better performing than previous generations.

Included with the Corsair H80i, other than the AIO unit and the fans, is a whole bunch of mounting hardware, accessories and documentation. Firstly below you can see all the mounting hardware for AMD and Intel sockets which we will go over in more detail in the installation page. Corsair include a fan cable for the pump head unit that allows you to connect both your fans and they include a USB 2.0 cable for controlling your fan speeds and LED profiles.

The documentation included is the main installation manual, a warranty guide, some returns information and a mini-brochure of other Corsair products.

Nice review. I suspected that it would be around that position on the graphs but its nice to get a confirmation. I am glad I went with the H80i. Although I have replaced the fans to GT-AP14 which preform about the same but about 10dba less.
Thanks for reminding me, I have one of these still fully sealed in it’s box stashed away among my collection of parts. It’s time I did some cleaning out to make space.
I got H100i for my AMD Test Drive system now. I was wondering where that update was. The help section tells you download the firmware but it wasn’t listed in the downloads. Anyways the unit already has 1.0.5 installed so no problem.
What is the connector next to the USB?
I’ve used 2 of these now and in both cases swapped out the whiny fans for a pair of Nanoxia Deep Silence PWM ones, although I did use a pair of Noctuas on one for a while, until I needed them elsewhere. From reviews I’ve seen on retailers’ sites, the supplied Corsair fans seem to be a regular source of complaint.
