The Corsair RM650 comes out swinging with its packaging featuring a nice clear image of the power supply front and centre. You shouldn’t have any difficulty figuring out what this is from a glance!
It does also include some of the key product features. Specifically the high performance design, gold efficiency certification and the 10-year guarantee.
Perhaps surprisingly, Corsair hasn’t really gone heavy handed with the branding here. The information provided on the back of the packaging is clear and to the point. It is perhaps a little small, but that’s only to accommodate the various languages.
While you are given details on how it performs, a key factor missing is exactly what cables you can expect from this. Fortunately, as above, you are given more than enough for the standard gaming PC. If you do, however, own a system with perhaps multiple storage devices, this could be an important omission.
In terms of accessories, you are not given much. Then again, given that this is a power supply do you really need a lot of clutter filling your box?
Inside the box, you are provided with a ‘manual’ that largely just details the warranty and the generic ‘poke inside this PSU at your own risk’ disclaimers. You are, however, treated to some other interesting goodies. Namely, some cable ties to help you with your management and a rather posh (password capable) 8GB USB stick.
