Complete System

Building a system inside the DeepCool Macube 550 was honestly as easy as it gets. The space in here is hilarious, there’s just so much room! That’s a full ATX motherboard in there, and it’s barely taking up half the room. What’s more, that’s DeepCools new Assassin III CPU cooler, and that’s a little bigger than the Noctua NH-D15S!

Cable Routing

It’s honestly super clean, but that’s no big surprise really. There’s a huge amount of space behind the motherboard for one. Secondly, there’s that fantastic PSU shroud hiding even more of the cables. Finally, there are cable routing grommets in all the right places, ensuring cable runs are kept to the absolute minimum.

Storage

With the SSD mount on top of the shroud, it’s perfect for showing off your favourite drive. Of course, there’s additional storage behind the motherboard for those who need it.

There’s easily room for any graphics card you can think of. Without a doubt, even the monster cards from AMD or Nvidia will fit with ease. Of course, that goes for an expansion card really. There’s loads of width, and more than enough height for multi-card configurations too.

Oh, and let’s not forget that sneaky window to show off the PSU!

Cooling

Now, keep in mind, this case only comes with a single fan as standard. What that does mean for the enthusiast is that you have fewer fans to remove before you put your swag custom ones in. That and the front panel and right panel are prime for a radiator setup too.

I’ve got the Assassin III fitted in here, and it fits the aesthetic really well; black and chrome goes with everything really.

Stunning

Overall, a fantastic looking build. Pretty monolithic and brutal in its size and design, but also clean, stealthy and elegant too.

The heavily tinted glass gives little away. However, as standard, this case comes with absolutely zero RGB, which is actually quite refreshing.

Bonus Build!

What’s more, I actually used this case to test a couple of Deep Cool coolers on an AMD platform. That meant the Assassin III build you saw above, but also this lovely 360mm AIO. You can check the feature here.
