All of the Energenie stuff comes packed quite compact, with very little waste materials, but everything is still nicely contained. It’s all recyclable materials too, which is a perk. There are a few details on the front for the Thermostat too. It shows that it’ll work with Amazon Alexa. However, since it works with IFTTT it’ll work with a vast array of… well, anything. I could turn my heating up via email if I really wanted to. You’ll need the IFTTT app for mobile or even use their web interface though.
The same is true of the plugs, which are compatible with all the same things. However, keep in mind all these devices need an Energenie Smart Home Hub to operate.
The radiator valves, I didn’t get in retail packaging. These were provided in a pack that didn’t include the hub since I already have one. However, there are three of them in the box, fitting rings, and a pair of Duracell batteries for each too.
