The MSRP on these fans is a wallet-busting £99.99. However, looking on Amazon they’re a much more affordable £69.99, which honestly, is pretty fantastic. To my mind, that’s about £15 per fan, and £25 for the fan hub, RGB hub, and the RGB controller; which I think is very fair indeed.
These fans are superb to look at and deliver impressive performance. The airflow is good, the RPM isn’t too high and can even be lowered if you desire. The RGB is stunning to look at and comes with plenty of customisation thanks to the addressable RGB headers. So a pretty complete packaged then.
Well, I wouldn’t say added value as such, as at £70, I think you’re paying a fair price for everything you get. However, you really do get quite a lot of hardware in the box. The inclusion of the RGB hub makes it easy to sync up all of your lighting. Plus, it has room for additional RGB cables if you wish to expand your setup. The same goes for the fan hub, taking the strain off of your motherboard headers. However, it’s the RGB controller that I love the most. You don’t need ARGB headers on your motherboard to enjoy what DeepCool has to offer.
Well, that’s obviously subjective. However, if you’re interested in the unique fan design, impressive airflow, and competitive RGB features, then I say go for it. While the MSRP doesn’t appeal to me, the current £69.99 retail price is very attractive.
