Ashes of the Singularity

Ashes of the Singularity

The recent AMD drivers appear to have caused lower frame-rates than I experienced when conducting a performance analysis of this particular game. Putting that vital piece of information aside, the GTX 1080 easily reaches the top spot and performs much better than I envisioned. This is because there’s still questions about its ability to effectively use asynchronous compute.

Once the resolution is set to 1440P, the graphics card maintains a very solid minimum frame-rate and doesn’t encounter a huge drop in performance compared to 1080P testing.

Even though the Fury X fares better than the GTX 980Ti when using a 4K monitor, it still pales in comparison to the GTX 1080 especially when you investigate the minimum figures.
