In Win Teases WINBOT Battlestation

Like most manufacturers in the PC industry, In Win is gearing up to announce their latest new products at Computex 2017 in a few days. Their latest is called the WINBOT and they have released an enigmatic trailer teasing this new product. The Taiwanese case manufacturer is well-known for their high-end cases. They released revised “2.0” versions of their popular models at Computex 2016 last year but the WINBOT is something new. First of all, In Win is not calling it a case, but a Battlestation. This implies that the new product is more than just a chassis.

Is it an Actual Robot?

I hope so! But that might just be the name. The ‘O’ in WINBOT is stylized, which also implies it might be related to the actual design of the chassis. A lot of the photos show some open-air area in the structure while some of the renders show some curved glass parts. There also appears to be some moving parts that may or may not be mechanized, like the In Win H-Tower. The renders show hardline liquid cooling so it appears that the chassis will at least be able to support radiators. One shot along the front part of the chassis also shows an integrated camera. This could possibly be part of the WINBOT’s unique features which could involve some sort of retinal scan for security or other features.

In Win will be displaying the WINBOT at Computex 2017 in booth J0606. eTeknix will be present to report first hand what this intriguing new product is.
