Lenovo Recalls Mains Cables Over Fire Hazard

Levono has issued an urgent product recall for any IdeaPad power cables sold between February 2011 and June 2012 due to risk of the product overheating, melting, or burning. The voluntary recall, issued on 9th December, is global and is expected to affect up to one million customers.

The offending cable was shipped with the IdeaPad and the Lenovo B, G and V series and is marked with a LS-15 code.
