Noctua NH-D9L Dual-Tower CPU Cooler Review
Performance
I wasn’t expecting groundbreaking cooling performance from the D9L given that this is a very compact cooler. However, it’s still commendable, and I would feel confident in its abilities for systems that were running at load for extended periods of time.
Overclocked performance wasn’t great, but still within a margin that meant the CPU was stable and didn’t shut down. Of course, if you’re overclocking a CPU and going to be pushing it under load a lot, invest in a bigger cooler such as the Noctua NH-D15.
Wow, that’s a result that speaks for its self, virtually silent performance from the cooler, barely, if at all, registering above ambient noise.
Even when overclocked, the cooler was virtually silent, only after a good few minutes at maximum CPU load did it kick up some noise and even then it was pretty average compared to many rival coolers.
Its too easy to crush your CPU to death with Noctua … RIP one CPU SHTFK!
