Gaming Performance
If you’re only buying this motherboard for extreme frame rates, be careful about your CPU choice. Sure, the 2990WX is a rendering monster, but it’s lower per-core speeds means its not ideal for gaming. It’s not terrible for it either mind you. The MEG is great for unleashing the performance of that CPU, but it’s a CPU that’s not fully used to its full potential by all software. That being said, the MEG did score well, and it’s about on par with the Gigabyte Designaire X399 motherboard also.
