The other key areas that are worth focussing on though comes down to VRM temperatures, which can differ wildly depending on the amount, the capacity of the current that can pass through them, and of course how the various heatsinks handle that power, which in turn, creates heat.
While the VRM is not the coolest we’ve tested, 50c is seriously impressive. It certainly has some of the largest heatsinks we’ve seen on one of these motherboards. However, it also has more power stages and a larger VRM configuration in general, so there’s a lot more hardware to cool, so it strikes an impressive balance here.
